Responsibilities

The project development and management department leads the development, management, review and analysis of multiple complex project schedules to support the team’s ability to meet all projects goals. This includes schedule integrity analyses, resource utilization analyses, critical path analyses, & risk analyses. Must be able establish the baseline rules to allow schedule integration for multiple projects and perform the integration of those schedules.

 

Key Functions

  • Utilize scheduling software (i.e., Microsoft Project) to document and maintain resource-loaded, critical path, logic-inked schedules, as well as analyze and integrate schedules
  • Develop and manage portfolio of integrated schedules to support resource management and team success
  • Document and provide schedule analysis, schedule risk analyses, and programmatic schedule assessments
  • Prepare and report program/project schedule metrics
  • Provide reports comparing baseline and current schedules
  • Understanding of and ability to implement cost, schedule, and technical (scope) project management constraints

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of educational or professional experience directly relevant to schedule development and management and related analyses
  • Experience in developing and managing complex hardware delivery schedules
  • Experience with all MS Project and related tools
  • Experience with task financial tracking systems and procurement systems
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance

 

Preferred

  • Experience with Government cost requirements, and particularly Earned Value Management principles
  • Experience using MS Project integration tools (Portfolio)
  • The ability to create targeted reports from complex schedules, navigate financial systems (SAP) to obtain specific project information and organize and analyze contractual data
