Responsibilities

We are looking for a proven self-starter who has a passion for people to be a People Acquisition Recruiter reporting to the Senior Manager of People Acquisition. This individual will have exceptional communication skills and will love working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are a mighty and progressive team and we are looking for an individual with a bias towards action.

 

The successful candidate will have experience in a fast paced environment with demonstrated experience sourcing, qualifying, interviewing and candidate relationship management.  To excel in this role one must be adaptable and flexible to changing business requirements and able to demonstrate a wide degree of creativity in capturing highly sought after talent.

 

This position will be either located in El Segundo, CA or Chantilly, VA.
 

KEY FUNCTIONS

 

  • Full cycle recruiting including, but not limited to sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing, comp analysis and formulating offers
  • Work with a diverse business group (across multiple locations) to improve the quality and efficiency of the planning, sourcing and hiring process while maintaining compliance with government regulations (OFCCP, EEO)
  • Support a highly technical environment and will handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Consult with hiring managers in determining staffing needs
  • Demonstrate solid judgment and have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures
  • Identify best practices, utilizing a variety of tools including internet sourcing, social networks, and industry specific sites to develop talent pipelines for various openings and projected needs
  • Develop and maintain industry contacts and a strong networking presence
  • Guide hiring managers and candidates through the selection and hiring process
  • Maintain excellent customer service with hiring managers, candidates and form partnerships with their human resource counterparts
  • Occasional travel may be required
  • Must be able to exhibit the ability to have fun at work

Qualifications

                                                            

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years work experience with at least 2 years in a Recruiter role
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Experience with full cycle technical staffing role including the ability to demonstrate research and sourcing strategies for hard to fill positions
  • Experience in an employment agency recruiting and sourcing contract, contract to hire or full time employee positions
  • Must have experience cold calling into companies and/or organizations to recruit passive candidates
  • Experience in recruiting engineers and/or scientists
  • Must demonstrate effective customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • Active Social Media user with a focus in the recruiting/staffing space
     

PREFERRED

  • Experience in recruiting account management
  • Experience with aerospace/defense recruiting
  • Must be able to exhibit the ability to have fun at work
