Responsible for assisting management with the maintenance and oversight of the Corporate Property Management Systems. Ensure the system provides tracking and accountability as required by contract requirements, government regulations, and corporate policies and practices.

  • Analyzes and researches newly acquired property items to determine tagging and tracking.  Reviews financial information through SAP and other applications. 
  • Creates initial records within the property database and updates records as needed. 
  • Assists with developing educational material and provides training on the use of the corporate property system.
  • Educates employees on current and newly revised corporate policies, practices and regulations. 
  • Assists management with developing physical inventory schedules. Runs various reports to determine inventory status of particular items. Researches hard to locate items. 
  • Assists in the preparation of audit review packages by gathering required information. 
  • May include warehouse operations such as storing, stacking, racking, and pulling items going into and out of an excess equipment warehouse. 
  • May coordinate pick up by scrap dealers and eligible recipients of surplus equipment. 
  • May oversee removal of data and volatile memory on data processing equipment being processed for disposal. 
  • May load pelletized surplus equipment onto trucks and/or containers.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of Asset control experience.
  • Ability to be flexible with multiple priorities at one time
  • Ability to be flexible with work hours.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret/ SBI Clearance



  • Warehouse operations may use of fork-lifts and. Customer service orientation
  • Bachelor's degree, or 8 or more years of relevant experience with High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
  • Familiar with SAP and other database systems
  • National Property Management Association certification or equivalent
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and projects
  • Must possess strong organizational skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizations
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills



  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer to complete activities.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone and telepresence.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may visit locations with varying temperatures, floor surfaces and may be exposed to seasonal elements.
  • May require lifting 35-50 lbs.
  • May work in a warehouse environment.
  • May have occasional use a pallet jack
