We are looking for a proven self-starter who has a passion for People to be a People Acquisition Coordinator reporting to the Director of University Relations and Recruiting (UR&R). This individual will have exceptional communication skills and will love working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are a mighty and progressive team and we are looking for an individual with a bias towards action. This is a highly administrative, service-oriented role, and you must have attention to detail and can prioritize functions to meet due dates and deadlines. The People Acquisition Coordinator will be an analytical thinker and have the ability to multi- task. 


This position will be located in Chantilly, VA.

Key Functions:


  • Support the team by handling and compiling sensitive data which facilitates the hiring of top talent
  • Work together with the Recruiters by assisting the team in meeting the hiring goals of the corporation
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders for campus, site and regional UR&R recruiting events
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for campus career services related to student recruitment
  • Coordinate logistics for on-campus events including job postings, catering, booth/collateral material orders, student resume downloads, and invoice/expense processing related to campus recruiting
  • Schedule interviews, update candidate activity in CRM/applicant tracking system and candidate communication, as required
  • Provide guidance on the company’s event policies, procedures and campus branding guidelines to stakeholders
  • Contribute to process improvements that strengthen operating excellence 
  • Serve on special projects and ad hoc teams, as assigned
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and responsive to customers, communicate professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Improving the candidate experience by scheduling interviews and communicating with hiring managers and team members on time sensitive information






  • Prior experience in an administrative or coordinator role
  • Experience in event planning to include coordination of various types of venues and events
  • Proficient with social media outlets to market job postings and events, and activities (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.)
  • Prior interview and travel scheduling experience
  • High level proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • High school diploma
  • US Citizenship required

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
